Wedding: Ruby & Brent 21.12.19

Classic, simple and timeless. We chose things we love now, but hope to still love looking back on our day.
I knew I wanted mostly white, with some greenery and soft pinks.
It was all simple and stressfree. We were both confident in what we like and wanted for the day.
I bought a Bride Business planner from Ivory Tribe which made the process so easy.

I found the process really easy as I was quite sure what I wanted from the start. I went and looked initially with my mum and sister (MOH), at Jane Hill Bridal in Prahran and One Day Bridal in South Melbourne. I was almost certain I had found the one, and took my bridesmaids and Brent’s mum back with me for a second look. I tried on pretty much the same silhouette, but with lace and beading, before settling on the Blake gown from Jane Hill. It was perfectly simple and classic, but still had beautiful detail.
I wore my mum’s veil, still in perfect condition 26 years later. It had beautiful pearls sown onto it.

Daniel our best man also told me – after the ceremony – that he had initially forgotten the rings! Me being me and super organised, was going to message him the morning of the wedding a little don’t forget the rings text. But I decided they were all more than capable of not forgetting! Luckily they were only five minutes down the road when he realised, and after quick U-turn, safely back in his pocket!
