At House of Jack Rabbit, we believe Mondays should be anything but ordinary — which is why we created Mussel Monday. It’s your invitation to slow down, gather your favourite people, and savour a generous bowl of fresh, locally sourced mussels, cooked in rich, flavour-packed sauces and served with warm sourdough that’s made for soaking up every last drop.

For a limited time only, you can enjoy this Monday ritual for just $21 (usually $27). Whether you’re after a leisurely lunch with a view, a mid-afternoon treat, or a late bite before the kitchen closes, Mussel Monday is here to turn the start of your week into something worth celebrating.

Each week, our chefs craft a new flavour to keep things exciting — from classic combinations that never go out of style, to bold twists designed to surprise your taste buds.

Mussel Monday Flavours

  • 25 August – White wine, garlic and cream sauce with crispy bacon

  • 1 September – Sweet and sour tomato with pickled onion

  • 8 September – Garlic, lemon and herbed cream with julienne scallion

  • 15 September – Green coconut and lime curry sauce with fresh coriander

  • 22 September – Chilli tomato sugo with Spanish chorizo

  • 29 September – Garlic, cream and pesto with fresh parsley

When & Where

Available every Monday from 10am – 5pm (last food orders at 4pm), Mussel Monday is the perfect excuse to linger a little longer, enjoy the view, and make Monday your new favourite day of the week.
