Now in its 18th year, the International Cool Climate Awards is an annual wine show offering participants and sponsors the opportunity of being involved in a world class event.  The event attracts winemakers, vineyard owners, sommeliers and cool climate wine enthusiasts from around the world. The ICCWS is recognised as one of Australia’s foremost show for inspirational cool climate wines. Many of them are from smaller vineyards where grapes are handpicked and wines handcrafted by winemakers with a passion for exploring terroir and the true expression of the grape.

Each year the ICCWS attracts more than 600 wines from around the world, in 25 competition classes, including sparkling wines, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. The wines are judged by highly credentialed and experienced judges.  For winemakers, this is an opportunity to benchmark in a show where "like is judged against like"; where elegant wines with restrained fruit are seen at their best; and where diversity is encouraged and rewarded.

Jack Rabbit wines are crafted from premium Bellarine fruit with attention to small batch handling and traditional practices.

The complete Jack Rabbit stable of wines includes the Single Vineyard Blanc de Blanc, Moscato, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Shiraz.

A number of other Bellarine Wineries also shone at this show, including Leura Park Estate and Yes said the Seal which has its home at the renowned Flying Brick Cider House.
