Summer gets all the attention, but more couples are discovering that a winter wedding can be the cosier, calmer and more affordable choice. Here's why winter works at Jack Rabbit Vineyard on The Bellarine.
A winter wedding is planned indoors from the start, so there's no need to watch the forecast. Think roaring fires, plenty of candles, long-sleeved dresses and soft, beautiful light for your photos.
Summer brings sweltering heat, a hectic wedding calendar and guests who can't make it. In winter you'll find more available dates, better rates from venues and vendors, cheaper travel and accommodation for guests, tulips in season and zero humidity.
For June to August weddings in Jack Rabbit Restaurant, our minimum guest numbers drop to 60 and there's no venue hire fee. That's a saving of $7,000 on a Friday and $11,000 on a Saturday. Excludes public holidays.

A special twilight edition of Yoga in the Vines. Salute the setting sun with a sixty minute yoga flow overlooking Corio Bay, followed by a glass of bubbles and a two course dinner at House of Jack Rabbit.
Afternoons at Jack Rabbit are remarkably well priced. Settle in with a lavish cheese board to share, then choose two glasses of Jack Rabbit wine or two Z Blade tasting paddles.
