We were delighted to host the wedding of Rebecca and Danny on the 11th March, 2017.
Just under 100 guests made their way from iconic St Mary of the Angels Basilica in Geelong to Jack Rabbit on Saturday 11 March, 2017 to celebrate the nuptials of Rebecca and Danny.
The guests were treated to canapés and pre-dinner drinks on the deck, taking in the splendid views across Port Phillip Bay before moving inside to welcome the stunning bride and groom.
Guest were then seated to enjoy an entree of Golden Plains Pork belly, butternut pumpkin and rosewater puree, macerated currant, crispy sage and granny smith apple or alternatively, South Australian King Prawns, pickled papaya salad with a palm sugar dressing.
After settling into the evening, mains were served which included Free Range Chicken breast, leek, caramelised onion and goats cheese tart and mushroom velouté. Wild clover Lamb, garlic puree, sweet potato tortilla with rosemary reduction was also served.
Glasses were filled with Jack Rabbit Sparkling Blanc de Blanc before guests took a moment to toast the delightful couple before being tempted by the dessert offering of Chocolate device, orange blossom mousse, baci cream or a Vanilla panna cotta, viognier poached peach, strawberry gel and honey cream. Cheese Platters filled with locally sourced produce were also served for the less sweet tooth inclined.
Sophie & Kyle’s picturesque wedding ceremony was held on the manicured lawns at Jack Rabbit, with Corio Bay providing the stunning backdrop.
