Hi everyone,

 

A little note to say Jack Rabbit Vineyard is open for business and committed to the health and safety of our wonderful patrons and great team cohort.  In this truly weird and challenging time, please rest assured we are doing everything possible to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.  We are closely monitoring and following the recommendations of the Department of Health and Federal Government’s directives and until we are advised otherwise, we will continue to do what we do best - provide great food, wine, service, ambience and views.

 

In addition to our already rigorous health and hygiene practices, we have activated extra precautionary measures.  These include:

• Hourly sanitisation of tables, chairs, door handles, benches and other ‘common touch’ utility items.

 

• Using disposable clothes to wipe every surface area with commercial grade sanitiser

 

• Setting all tables at a minimum of 4 square meters apart to ensure facilitation of the recommended social distancing space for patrons safety and reassurance

 

• Requesting Tap & Go payments

 

• Wearing disposable gloves to carry and move cartons of wine/cider/beer to and from delivery/storage to venue.

 

• Adhering to a strict wellness policy, ensuring all staff are aware of the symptoms and health guidelines relating to Coronavirus. 

 

• Advising all staff they must seek medical advice immediately and self-isolate if they have been exposed to the Coronavirus in any way, shape or form.  To date, there have been no reported exposures.

 

• Ensuring staff are washing their hands regularly for 20 seconds or more with soap, water and/or hand sanitiser

 

• Requesting patrons not to enter our venue if they are displaying any symptoms of Coronavirus, have had exposure to the Coronavirus or have been travelling overseas.

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF WINE TASTINGS

The health and wellbeing of our employees and valued guests is at the forefront of everything we do. To help ensure their health and safety and do everything we can to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus, we have decided to temporarily suspend cellar door wine tastings until the situation has improved.

This pause doesn’t mean that the wine has stopped flowing. Wine can still be purchased by the glass or bottle at both House of Jack Rabbit or Jack Rabbit Restaurant. You can also pop into our cellar door to purchase wine to take home or elect to have your wine shipped to your door with FREE delivery within Australian.   Wines can also be purchased online.

We are monitoring the situation closely and will keep you updated on this page. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support in these unprecedented, bewildering times.

WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER – WHAT YOU CAN DO

We ask that you continue to enjoy our warm hospitality and delicious fare in the knowledge that we are doing everything possible to ensure this sinister virus does not spread.

 

We also respectfully request you assist us in preventing the potential spread of the Coronavirus by adopting the following recommended safe measures:

• Bathroom.  Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.  Air dry your hands or use a disposable hand towel to dry your hands
• ‘Dracula’ Sneeze in to your elbow
• Frequently make use of the Hand Sanitiser stations located around our venues
• Make any payments with Tap & Go
• Not to enter our venue if you believe you have been in contact with any persons exposed to the Coronavirus or are displaying any symptoms of the coronavirus.
